The municipal heating plan is a key component of a resilient, price-stable and future-proof heating supply in Dresden. It sets out how the city’s heating supply can be made more sustainable, efficient and less reliant on fossil fuels in the long term. To this end, existing structures were analysed, potential for renewable heat sources was identified and specific measures for the heat transition were developed. The aim is to enable an affordable, secure and climate-neutral heat supply.
